One of the missions of the Puget Sound Mortgage Lenders Association is to support it's members through continuing education. In keeping with this goal, every year we offer a scholarship for course one to the Mortgage Bankers of America School of Mortgage Banking

The School of Mortgage Banking is internationally recognized as a program that offers the highest quality and most comprehensive education in the mortgage industry, and it is held in the highest regard by the professionals in this field. There are three courses to complete and pass to earn a CMB (Certified Mortgage Banker) Designation. The courses are held at universities or professional training facilities in different parts of the country. The school's curriculum is ever changing, always up to date, and an excellent investment in the future of any serious mortgage professional.
 

• PSMLA will begin accepting applications through July 15th 2007. The scholarship will be awarded in August 2007 at our annual Realtor Appreciation Golf Tournament.
   
• The Scholarship is open to anyone employed by a paid 2007 PSMLA member company --- loan officers, managers, underwriters, processors, etc --- anyone involved in the business of mortgage lending.
   
• For more information please contact previous winner, who will be your mentor through the application, and registration process.
   
• The winner will receive round trip airfare to the school, and tuition to any of the three courses.  The winner will be required to pay for the class, airfare and hotel and submit receipts for reimbursement up to a maximum value of $3500.

• Applicants are required to complete the on site application, as well as complete a personal interview with the scholarship committee. Please mail the application to the address below by July 15, 2007
